The design is reminiscent of NCHProduction's "ASRIEL" short recreating that one scene from AKIRA where the kid, Tetsuo Shima, loses control of his psychic powers, fusing with his mechanical hand to become a biomechanical clusterfuck. Except, it's Asriel from Undertale going through a similar process with a mutating fauna on his hand. Anyways, great character work!
